Don't Blow Your Refund!

Updated: Apr 19

Now that refunds have been issued. I'm sure a lot of you are doing some big spending-cars, handbags, shoes, jewelry and fancy dining out. All the stuff we want but have been "too broke" to get. Sure, splurging on ourselves from time to time is acceptable, we all deserve to spoil ourselves a bit.  But, is a $1000 handbag now going to help us tomorrow? Are those new Jordans or Red Bottoms putting food on our tables or building our retirement savings? Probably not, but we still want them. I get it. Trust me, I love to spend just like everyone else, but instead of spending it all, lets learn to spend wisely and invest in our long term financial freedom. Check out these 5 books on money management and becoming financially independent:

1. The Total Money Makeover: Classic Edition: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness

2. The No-Spend Challenge Guide: How to Stop Spending Money Impulsively, Pay off Debt Fast, & Make Your Finances Fit Your Dreams

3. Why Didn't They Teach Me This in School?: 99 Personal Money Management Principles to Live By

4. Money Honey: A Simple 7-Step Guide For Getting Your Financial $hit Together
